Karina Martinez, Fiscal Director

Karina Martinez has over 15 years of experience in nonprofit finance, grants management, and regulatory compliance. She has served with Housing Works since 2016, where she oversees organizational finances including contracts, grants, payables and receivables, and works closely with external accounting and audit partners. This fiscal year, she will manage $8M in contracts, grants, and contributions. Previously, Karina held leadership roles in compliance and program administration across nonprofit, workforce development, and higher education organizations, managing federal and state grants, supervising multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring adherence to complex regulatory requirements.
