Advocacy Work
Workforce Advocacy
Housing Works was proud to participate in the 2025 Housing California Conference in Sacramento, where five of our very own staff members performed, “The Frontline Mind.” The spoken-word monologues written by Bikbaye Inejnema shed light on the real experiences, pressures, and financial challenges faced by frontline workers. Attendees shared validating feedback, underscoring the urgent need for leadership support, fair compensation, and meaningful systemic change. This work is part of our commitment to advocate not only for the people we serve, but for the people doing the serving.
