Walter Killmer, Jr is an attorney and a principal of Rodi Pollock Pettker Christian & Pramov, Los Angeles. His practice focuses on estate planning, probate and trust administration, and charitable giving for individuals, families, fiduciaries, and charitable organizations. His clients include business owners, professionals, corporate and financial executives, artists, families with inherited wealth, non-traditional couples, and clients with family members or assets outside the United States. He also advises public charities and private foundations on planned giving, endowment, tax compliance, and corporate governance issues. In addition to his involvement with Housing Works, he is a vice president of the Columbia Law School Association and a vice president of the Sorel Organization, a foundation supporting women in classical music.

Andrew Kerr is the Treasurer and a founding Board member of Housing Works. For 17 years he has served as CFO and controller for Crew, Inc, an earth excavating and demolition contractor for the commercial construction industry. In addition to Housing Works, Andrew has assisted numerous young nonprofit organizations in developing sound financial practices and a healthy management structure. He is a member of the Immaculate Heart Community, and is the president of the Society for Advancement of Management. Andrew is married to Megan McGuiness Kerr and they have three children, Christian, Evan and Emma Jayne. His interests include running, hiking, camping, mountain climbing, reading, politics, current events.

Grace Dyrness, PhD

Grace Roberts Dyrness is a private consultant in local and economic development and a part-time professor in the School of Policy, Planning and Development at the University of Southern California where she teaches in the areas of social context of planning and sustainable development. Her focus has been homeless women and vulnerable children with an emphasis on teaching advocacy planning and participatory approaches for community research. For more than a decade she was the Director of Community Research and Development for the Center for Religion and Civic Culture at the University of Southern California where she conducted research on the role of faith based organizations in the civic life of Los Angeles, San Francisco, Santa Barbara, and in Tanzania. She is also the founder and senior researcher at the Institute for Transnational Research and Development in Pasadena, CA.
Rev. Dr. Gwynne Guibord, President Emerita

Gwynne Guibord graciously served as President of Housing Works for five years – 2005 through 2010. The growth of the organization under her leadership is evident in Home First, our strategic plan for 2009-2014 and many other achievements. Housing Works is pleased to honor her as President Emerita. Gwynne is an Episcopal Priest and Founder and President of The Guibord Center – Religion Inside Out (www.theguibordcenter.org) “whose mission is to bring people together, to challenge assumptions, unleash The Holy and affirm the faith that transforms the world." She served as Officer of Ecumenical and Interreligious Concerns for the Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles until 2009. She is the co-founder and co-convener of The Christian – Muslim Consultative Group in Los Angeles. Dr. Guibord co-chairs The National Muslim – Christian Initiative Dialogue on behalf of The National Council of Churches in Christ USA and also represents the Episcopal Church for the NCC’s Christian-Jewish Dialogue. She is the recipient of The Muslim Peace Award from The Islamic Center of Southern California. In October 2009 Dr. Guibord received The Hindu American Foundation’s Mahatma Ghandi Award for the Advancement of Religious Pluralism. Most recently she received The Annual World Interfaith Leader Award from The National Association of Interchurch and Interfaith Families.
